Corset T

Has anyone knit the Corset T top that was shown on Knitty Gritty awhile ago? I’d like to attempt it but am looking for appropriate yarn substitutions. TIA

a lot of people, including me, have asked this here before, but I have not seen anyone post who has knit it in something else. People have said they were going to, but then I never found out how their T turned out…

Anyone?

here’s a slightly changed version

Hope this helps

I finished it last month. Although, I think mine is more like an “as seen on tv” version (as I don’t recall them making it for a dog). :teehee: Here’s the linksince Letah’s doesn’t seem to be working.

It was fairly easy, but I did run into a couple of issues with the pattern. Here’s the thread about those.

Thank you!!!

I’m doing the more complex silk version in berocco softwist. It’s coming along slowly-- pictures are on my website if you want to see it.

Completed Corset T with buttons.

Ya know, I always wanted to make this but now that I see it on a real person I think I may be too busty to wear it

I bought yarn to do this, but I’m a little intimidated by it. I’ve never knitted a garment and they are so many stitches to cast on, and so many places for me to mess up. LOL

I also got the berroco softtwist to do this in. Maybe I’ll get inspired by it. I loved the completed one in the burgandy and black, it was beautiful…

Danielle, I was a little concerned too. I’d never knitted a garment before either. It really was fairly simple. TONS easier than a sweater I’m sure. At first I kept messing up on the lace part, but once I slowed down and really paid attention to what I was doing, it got better.

those look great! I am flat, maybe it’ll make me look like I have boobs!

Thank you, maybe I will pull it back out and try it again. I hate not having knitters closer to me!
