So I was doing sleeves with magic loop. I noticed apparently about 6 or 7 rounds back I must have done a yarn over so there was now an extra stitch I have been working.
so I just unraveled just those two stitches down to where it happened but everything is now so loose. Will it adjust or should I try to undue all those rounds? Course there is no safety line, saw no reason
Correcting mistake
I’d drop down again, replace the yo, then work either a k2tog or ssk with it and the adjacent stitch. You could pull the yo up and do the decrease on the next round if you think it looks less obvious. I sometimes will twist the yo before working the decrease to help further tighten up the slack.
Thanks. I wish I had waited, cause your solution was probably better. But I didn’t. I have been working on using a crochet needle to gently disperse the slack on nearby rows and it’s getting better. I think eventually it will be hardly noticeable ( at least that’s what I’m telling myself).
That’s a completely acceptable solution. I doubt that after you’re done it will show.
Spreading out the extra yarn will work. It’s amazing if you work across a row how quickly an extra bit of yarn gets used up and seems to disappear. I usually look across a row to see if there might be a slightly smaller stitch and work the yarn up to there.
