Converting written cable to graph

The directions are written out line by line. My questions is HOW to convert the written instructions to a chart. Is it as easy as just sitting down with graph paper and pen and writing it out or is there a “trick” to charting?

I don’t know that I’d EVER beable to do this but it certainly is BEAUTIFUL!!!

wow, that is beautiful! To answer your question, yes,I do believe it is that simple (turning the directions into a chart).

I always change written directions to charts. You just have to remember that the charted row is the[I] result[/I] of doing the stitch.
