Converting to short rows

Hi: I have a sweater pattern that uses BO 6 stitches for several rows to shape shoulders and I want to convert it to short rows so I can do a 3-needle bind-off for the shoulder seams.

The pattern (for the back) reads: BO 6 stitches, K to end, and
BO 6 stitches, P to end
Repeat these last 2 rows twice more.
Would I just knit/purl 6, then wrap and turn to substitute a short row?

Or would I knit/purl to 6 stitches before the end, then wrap and turn?

This way.
