Converting from flat to circular question

I’ve just knitted a swatch of this pattern. It’s just what I’ve been looking for (a ‘manly’ scarf pattern for DH and DS) but I don’t like the reverse side of it. Can anyone tell me how I convert it for knitting on DPNs?

Cast on twice as many stitches and knit the odd numbered rows.

Decide how wide you want it to be, and cast on twice that width, in a multiple of 6 + 3. If you want, you can add a purl ‘seam’ line on each side to help it lay flat. You’d have to make sure that there is the correct multiple between the ‘seam’ stitches.

Then you just follow the pattern for the front and instead of purling for the back, you knit a row.

Thanks guys. :cheering:
