Hey I have this pattern for a beanie… It’s knitted on circular needles but I want to make a scarf that match the beanie… How do I adjust the pattern so I can knit on straight needles … Please help
Row1: Ssk, yo, k3, yo, k2tog, p3
Row2: k7, p3
Row3: k2, yo, sl2-k1-p2sso, yo, k2, p3
Row4: k7, p3
When knitting on straight needles and turning the work, you need to change every second row. In this case it is very easy as every second row is very simple. So on row 2 and row 4 you replace knit with purl and purl with knit:
Row1: Ssk, yo, k3, yo, k2tog, p3
Row2: p7, k3
Row3: k2, yo, sl2-k1-p2sso, yo, k2, p3
Row4: p7, k3
