I started knitting once again but I am not sure what this set of instructions is asking me.
Keeping 1 st at each side in St st, work remaining sts in Pat St until 29 rows have been completed, end on RS – 6 sts.

Keeping 1 stitch at each side in st st means that on every right side row you will knit the first and the last stitch, and on every wrong side row you will purl the first and last stitch. All of the stitches in between will be be worked in whatever stitch pattern as it has been established. You will do this for 29 rows, until you arrive at 6 stitch, ending on a right side.
By the way, I LOVE that purse!

One more piece of help. I wanted to make sure i did this correctly. I knit 1…make 1…keep knitting to the last stitch…once i have all the stitches on one needle…i make another? er. STill lost…i do not think that is right
Work until there is one stitch left on the left needle, M1, and then knit the last stitch.
I did not understand the whole set of instructions…

Work even means knit without making increase. Work the next 7 rows, then do the Inc row. Make the increases part of the Moss St pattern. Place a marker at each end of the row you have 12 sts on to use that as a measuring guide. When it’s long enough, place another set of markers. WS means the wrong (inside) side of your work.

OHHHHHHH!!!
the 1-10 st. confused me. I did not know what it was asking me to do.
The DEC will be knitting together for then working the pattern till last three…then knit together and then knit.
work 7 rows in the pattern…the continue my decreasing until i have 8 sts.
THEN do my moss pattern…for 18 more rows
