Confuse pattern
What is the name of your pattern and designer? It looks like a dog sweater?
Increase at each end of rows 1,2 and 3 and then increase one stitch at the beginning of rows 4,5,6,7 and so on until 62sts. Work 3 rows with no increases.
The next part creates the leg openings. Work across 5sts, cast off the next 4sts for the first leg opening, continue to work 44sts then cast off 4sts for the second leg opening and then finish the row.
In the next section you’ll knit each of the 3 sections with separate strands of yarn for one inch then cast on 4sts over the same areas as the 4 cast off sts. Now all the sections are joined and you can continue with one strand of yarn again.
Hello I’m back trying to make a dog sweater for my granddaughters puppy I’m hoping it will fit she is a chi tiny I found this pattern on Pinterest it’s kind of confusing but with y’all I’m sure I can do this article Hartwood roses
That is sweet.
It seems confusing when you cast off to make the openings for the legs but the easiest way to work it is with 3 different sources of yarn or 3 strands at the same time. You knit across the side sts, drop that strand, pick up strand 2 and knit across the center sts, drop strand 2, pick up strand 3 then finish the row.
It could be worked one section at a time as long as you keep track of the number of rows you’re knitting in each section.
If this is still confusing, come back and we’ll try again.
I’m going to try again I had to redo it but I’m trying the way with the three strands now it wasn’t come out right Thanks again I’m sure I’ll need more help
Are you using a lifeline? It makes it possible to pull out a few rows of brioche without losing everything.
Thanks I’ll try it
