Completed socks from SKS

I just completed my first pair of socks from Sensational Knitted Socks. These were made with Adriafil Knitcol using the Garter Rib Stitch and the ML method. I made both at once on separate needles.
I’ve made socks before, but not anything other than just a k2p2 pattern. This was fun.

I had to use a different lot number for the last 1/3 of the foot, but you can’t tell. One ball did have an extra section of purple, though.

Great job…they look warm and comfy! Love the colors too…

those look great! Beautiful colors.

They look wonderful!

Wonderful job!!! I just love the SKS books. There are so many wonderful patterns that it’s always difficult to pick just one out!

:yay: Beautiful!

Congratualtions on making your first socks. They look lovely

These are nice - the yarn. I’m currently working on my first pair of socks, and this inspires me to press on

They look great! Love the colors!

They aren;t the first socks I’ve made, just the first from this book. I’ve made about seven pair before these. I think I;m addicted to socks.

Beautiful!

Your socks are gorgeous! What color did you use? I just bought some of this yarn today and I love it! I had never seen it before today and just accidentally found it at my LYS. The colors are magnificent and the yarn is SO soft (100% Superwash Merino). I bought the #47 colorway and I can’t wait to see how it knits up.

I got on KH and searched ‘Knitcol’ to see if anyone else had used this yarn. I am so excited to see how wonderful your socks turned out! I only bought one ball of yarn because I’m planning to knit small baby socks for practice. I’m guessing I won’t get the same stripe results that you have since my socks are going to be so much smaller. However, I still think it will be so much fun to work with this yarn.

Wow! Great job getting the colors to jive in both socks at the same places at the same time! Fantastic job!

gorgeous! :inlove:
