Comfy yarn question

Would Comfy Fingering Yarn be good for knitting summer socks? Fiber Content: 75% Pima Cotton, 25% Acrylic.

I checked the comments on comfy fingering on Ravelry. The people who have made socks with it like it, but say that there’s not a lot of give, and that it can stretch out of shape like most cottons. But everyone says its very soft cotton.

ETA: I wonder if the elastic in the Kollage makes cables easier with cotton???

I would guess that the elastic would make knitting cables easier, :shock: just had a thought, though. I wonder if the elastic would wear out, like in some clothing items I own.

Eventually I expect the elastic would wear out. I don’t think cotton socks would wear as long as wool so maybe not that much before the cotton was also somewhat past tense.
