Hello there…
I seem to remember reading something somewhere…which of course now I can’t find…
It was about switching colours in rib stitches…
For example…
I want to knit a sweater that is done entirely in a 2x2 rib stitch. It has one colour change in it, which means two places where you have to change from MC, to CC, and back from CC to MC.
I seem to recall this piece of advice I read said, if you want to avoid having the unsightly strands across the back of the purl sides, one could simply knit across the whole row for one row, so that you don’t get that weird line that happens in colour changes on the purl side.
Has anyone else read this piece of advice, or better yet…done this technique?
