Colour change

Morning!! I am new to this site so hello everyone! My name is Jade.

I have started knitting a baby blanket and wanting to change the colour to make it stripy, I know how to change the colour at the beginning of a new row, I am just wondering if you count it as a new row or just knit the colour in and then count a new row after? If that makes sense?

Please help. Xx

Hi Jade and welcome!
Each time you move sts from one needle to another counts as a row. When you knit a row with the new color, that counts as a row. The next row is the 2nd row of the new color.
