Colorwork!

Standed knitting, Fair Isle, etc., were one of those monsters in the closet for me. Just way too much for me to do. Until last night! After reading a bit of EZ’s Knitting Around I just Did It!

It’s really not hard! Pics on my blog.

Well done Yarnlady:) It looks great:)

That looks really pretty! So bright and cheery, I love it-great job!

Very pretty! I like that stained glass effect of the variegated yarn with the black! I’ve been meaning to try colorwork, and now you’ve got me fired up. It will have to wait until after the Christmas knitting, though.

 Great Job!!

good job

Thanks for all nice comments. I was so excited about it, I CO the Fake Isle Hat yesterday :happydance: and have been having great fun with it! Pics of my progress on my blog! :star:

Very nice!
I love the super colors combined with the black and white–it looks really cool.

I love the colors. But I thought there was only one pic and couldn’t figure out what the deal with having mittens that said “WAR” on them. It wasn’t until I finally scrolled down and saw that there was an M on the end. :roflhard:

I love  the Fair Isle hat. Great colors!!! That’s going to be my next big step after Christmas. So far all I’ve done is a gazillion scarves, some felted bags and a couple of ponchos. I’m ready to move on!!!
