I’m attempting to begin a sleeveless top pattern (Drops 77-22) which is worked on circular needles in the round. I’m a bit confused by instructions after casting on. They are: 1 st the same as the first St in pattern (this st is the side st), P4 . . . Does that mean the first stitch is whatever is the first stitch indicated in chart? Is it supposed to be different (like a knit st) to somehow differentiate from other stitches?
Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.
