I am having trouble figuring this out (see highlighted portion of picture). I am at the point where I am to “join right muzzle fron to left muzzle front”. I have 7 muzzle stitches on each needle. Pattern asks you knit across from A to B - (7 stitches). There are 7 stitches on each needle which equal 14. How am I joining? Do I put them on one needle? And, if I put them on one needle and decrease, this would make the muzzle askew/not aligned. Maybe I am reading something wrong.
Thanks for any help you can give,
Lorna

Maybe this one of the many hare patterns by Claire Garland.
It looks like the working yarn is at the upper end of the right needle, ready to knit sts off the left needle starting at A and knitting across to B. Then all the sts will be on one needle. You’ll be set to work the 3 following decrease rows then bind off. It doesn’t look as though they will be misaligned or uneven judging from the photo.
