Circular needles

I have this beautiful pattern and am not supposed to connect in the round. how do I do that?

If you’re not supposed to connect to knit in the round, then turn the work when you get to the end of the row. If you need to, put a marker at the first stitch so you’ll remember where to turn the work and knit back. You can think of the circular needle as a long, flexible straight needle.

If you’re not supposed to be knitting in the round, then just turn your work as if you’re on straights. If you used a long tail cast on, turn and work the first row, turn and do the 2nd row. If you used a knit or cable CO, work the first row, turn, do the next row, and so on.

thank you!
