Circular needles

Does anyone have a tip on how to straighten out circular needles?? I recently bought my first set and my project keeps curling up on me!! :-x

Thanks in advance!!

Dip the cable part in boiling water (not for very long-you don’t want the cable to melt! :stuck_out_tongue: ) and then pull them straight. That should take care of the curling problem.

My experience - and remember that I use cheap circs - is that the curl is a pain in the bum at the beginning but improves over the first few inches of knitting. I just fight my way through the first couple of inches. Since I store my circs curled up wouldn’t dipping them in boiling water have to be done every time I start somehting new?

Pretty much, yes.

I used to use a hairdryer on mine. very carefully so you don’t melt it.

heat it up and then tug on it.
