Hi, I am using circular needles for the first time to knit adult cardigan - do I knit test tension square on them, use straight needles or does it matter? Also I would be grateful for any tips for knitting on them. Thank you in advance!
If you’re knitting back and forth on the circulars, then you can do the same for the tension square. I like to use the same needles, not just the same size needles but the very same needles for tension square and project.
If you knit in the round on the circs, there’s a way to knit a tension square without having to cast on a large number of sts. I don’t think this applies to you but it may be good information to tuck away.
