I’m confused. The instructions for the project I’m working on says to “turn your work, you will no longer be knitting in the round”. I knit english style or thow over style and do not understand how to turn the work and still have the yarn on the right side. I hope I’m making sense. Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks,
Sandy
ps - the pattern also calls for binding off about 10 stitches using the backwards loop method. Anybody ever hear of this?
You turn your work, just as if you were knitting flat and turning for a new row. It doesn’t matter which way you knit. The left needle goes to your right hand, the right needle goes to your left hand, and you work back across.
For the bind-off, I can’t help you. I’ve heard of casting on with the backwards loop, but not binding off. If you can link to the pattern, or provide a bit more of the directions, it could be helpful
