Don’t worry, I’m not a Scrooge, I LOVE Christmas, but I wanted to know if there were any Christmas songs/movies that just get on your nerves!! Mine is “The Christmas Shoes” song. I’ve never seen the movie, but I’m sure it would be the same. It’s not that I don’t like the song, but it just tears my heart out every time I hear it. :waah: So much so that I have to turn the radio off!! Just envisioning this little boy buying his Mom a pair of shoes before she dies!! GEEZ! Talk about a downer!!!

DOMINIC THE DONKEY. I cannot stand that song and the radio stations I usually listen to play it constantly during christmas season…ugh…
I think that the movie “A Christmas Story” with the little boy that desperately wants the beebee gun and the dad with the ‘leg lamp’ is just obnoxious. Some people will say it is a classic but I think Yech!
These days pretty much all of them get on my nerves. That’s mostly because they show the same old movies year after year, and the same with most of the songs which start far too early. They shouldn’t be allowed to play Christmas music until Dec 1st.
I prefer listening to classical Christmas music as it’s more enjoyable and less commercial.
I am already sick of “Feliz Navidad”. My office plays Christmas songs all day every day and they play this song about 4 times in one day. Why is it you can always hear the one song that drives you crazy and all the rest blend into the background? They play the same version over and over 5 days a week! UGH!
Personally, I detest It’s a Wonderful Life. Everyone’s always talking about how, well, wonderful it is but it just gets on my nerves.

Although my fave is White Christmas et most people hate it because it is a musical. What can I say, Im a nerd. 
I also detest that Christmas shoes song, nothing like listening to that to make you really depressed during the holiday season. Why put out a song like that during a time when alot of people are depressed? It’s stupid. I also hate Grandma got run over by a reindeer, I just don’t think it’s funny. I really just like the traditional songs like carole of the bells, etc.
I don’t watch the old Christmas shows like It’s a Wonderful Life, I’ve tried a couple of times but found them boring. Feliz Navidad sticks in my head and I end up making up words to it like “fleas on my cat, fleas on my cat”.
AHHHH…the 30 point buck! It’s not even Christmas-y but the radio stations like to play it this time of year. I just don’t listen to the radio much now because I get sick of the Christmas music.
