I’m spending the weekend holed up in a motel in Virginia Beach.
I didn’t find any decent yarn shops nearby, but I did find a very nice tobacconist and picked up a new Savinelli pipe with a sterling silver band.
I’m enjoying it now while knitting a hat and watching James Bond.
Well, that’s great! It beats being stuck in WY as we’re having a big snowstorm here.

Snow in Wyoming this time of year is not all that unusual. I’ve been caught in snowstorms out there in late Spring and early Fall many times.
Not this early. It’s supposed to be 60. After tomorrow it’s forecast to warm up to the 50s and we might hit 60 by next weekend.

The snow we got last week barely covered the grass; Laramie got 3" because they’re at such a high elevation. It was pretty decent otherwise. And it’s still a little early for measureable snow.
So you’re on the East Coast now. 
It’s been nice this weekend. Sure beats the snow!

I’m jealous you’re at the beach in October ! We live so close yet life never really allows us much time to get there. If you get close to Williamsburg or Blacksburg there are some great yarn shops.
