Childs hat

Years ago (25 yrs) I had a great hat pattern for young kids. It was like a helmut. Just an opening for the face…kept their head,neck and ears warm. It was good to make with left over yarns. Does anyone have such a pattern?

It isn’t a free pattern, but here’s one that can be purchased online. Scroll about 1/4 of the way down the page to the booklet titled “Caps for Children” Leaflet 1600.

edit:I just realized I gave the wrong caption for the patterns with the child’s baclava (just changed it above in my post), but you obviously scrolled down to the right picture. :thumbsup:

Hi, actually I have a booklet from our charity knitting group with hats, mittens etc…There is a pattern for WWll Helmet… it’s a pull-over hat, covers ears and neck… If you want the pattern pm me and I’ll send it to you. Chele
