Child's beret and sweater set, COMPLETE!

Yesterday Pink Dandelion and I made our first visit to a SNB we found down valley. Lovely group! While there I finished weaving in the yarn ends to the sweater and worked on the beret. The ladies passed the sweater around and gave me lots of self esteem building positive strokes. Of course I’m going back! :wink:

Last night, after the granddaughter had already gone to bed, I finished the beret, so the bear was forced into modeling the beret for me.

The sleeves and band of the hat are done on size 4 needles. Everything else is on a size 5.

That is incredible wow wow wow! I love the beret. I can just picture it all on a little girl. How pretty, mind you the bear looks gorgeous.

Thanks everyone! I was really itching to knit something bigger than a sock :wink: yet didn’t have time to knit a bigger project that I couldn’t easily drag along everywhere. This was my compromise!

Sandra, I used the mattress stitch to seam it up, and as long as I’m near my ott light where I can SEE then it goes fairly quickly :slight_smile:
