I’m working on this sweater:

Now that I finally was able to finish the back, thanks to a helpful post on this forum, I’m stuck again on the first side of the front. Did I mention that this is my first sweater?

Here’s the deal:
I currently have 36 stitches on the needles. After these decreases I should have 33 sts.
"…dec 1 st at end of next and foll 0 (zero) alt rows, then on 2 foll 4th rows".

HUH?

Does this say:
row 1 - dec 1 at end
row 2 - no decrease
row 3 - no decrease
row 4 - dec 1 at end
row 5 - no decrease
row 6 - no decrease
row 7 - no decrease
row 8 - dec 1 at end
