Cheap Yarn or Yarn on Sale

Hi,

I found a throw that I want to make but it’s going to take around 20 skeins of yarn. I need 4 skeins of Lion Brand Homespun, and 16 skeins of Lion Brand Wool Ease Chunky.

Does anyone know where I can purchase yarn online at a good price? I calculated the price on JoAnn’s and it would cost me about $90 for that much yarn.

If you know a cheaper site, please share!

:thinking: Well, I know that Walmart sells the Homespun, 'cause that’s what I’m using on a blanket I’m doing. Not sure about the other, though, although Walmart may carry it, too, have you checked there?

Check out www.smileysyarns.com . I’ve seen Homespun on there for less than in the store.

I would check out this spot. The other option is to use your joann’s coupons and michaels coupons…although it would take a while to accumulate your yarn and you could run into lot issues.

Thanks so much for all the advice. I think Joann ended up being the cheapest since they give me 10% off if I spend over $80.
