Charting vs. Text

I am working on a cable sweater - the length is 134 stitches and the pattern is that long also — tough to visualize this row by row. It repeats every 28 rows

Is there any software out there that can take a pattern in chart form and convert it to text?

Any suggestions other than ‘translating’ it myself

How about reading the chart? I find them much easier to read than written directions. I put a post-it note(s) above the row I’m working on and it makes it easy not to get lost.
