Hey all, I’m looking at making the Giraffe sweater from knitty starting in the fall. Right now it’s a little beyond my skill level, but I saw it being made recently and I’m absolutely in love with it.
My question is, I don’t want the sleeves to taper, rather I want them to be straight out or even belled, and I’m wondering how I should alter the pattern to do that. I’ve been dreaming about this, and I’ll probably continue to dream about it until I do the cast-on, but each potential problem solved before I buy yarn is one less mistake to fix after I’ve been working on it for a while.
