I am knitting the Angora Hooded Teddy Cowl from Knitter’s Stash. It is a cowl that can be pulled up to form a hood. The pattern is a K1P1 rib pattern. I prefer the look of K3P1. (It seems very stretchy in the TUBEY sweater I am also in the process of knitting.) Do you think I would be giving up too much stretchiness if I did the cowl in K3P1?

I think you’ll sacrifice some stretch by switching. I’ve worked K3P1; while it’s still stretchy, it not as stretchy. JMHO…
