I just made my first sweater, for a baby, but a sweater! Anyway, there were just 2 stripes along the bottom and I am wondering if there is a way you can “carry” the color from stripe to stripe without cutting the yarn and leaving all those ends? the stripes were 4 rows apart. It seems I saw somewhere where you can carry the color up the side somehow? Thanks

You can carry the colors up the side if there are are only a few rows of each stripe color.
Just let Color A dangle while you’re working Color B;
then drop Color B and bring Color A into position for knitting.
With only two stripes you’re not eliminating that many ends, but every little bit helps.
