Change needle size?

Please can you tell me I’m knitting a cotton jumper for a 6/9 mth old as it’s knitting up slowly do I go up in needle size or down to help grow a bit faster

Welcome!
What is the name of your pattern and what size needle are you currently using?

In general, you would go to a larger size needle but you are also going to change the width of a row as well as the height. Depending on the stitch pattern, you may also create a line where the needle size is changed.

The pattern is a lulu jumper knitted on size 3.25

That’s such a good looking sweater.

Brioche is very stretchy and can stretch out of shape. That’s probably the reason for the small needle size. Brioche does seem to be slow growing but it’s so worth it.
