I’m making socks and I want to change color but the first stitch is a slip stitch. Anybody know how I can still change color?? Thanks.
If this is where you are working in the round, no, I don’t. But it seems like the place where you slip stitches is on the heel part so maybe I do. If you are working flat and want to change color on the next row, but the first stitch of the new row must be slipped you can do it by purling (assuming it is St st) the last stitch of the row before you change color, with the new color. Then when you slip it it is the right color and the row looks right.
Great idea! I will try that. Thanks!
