Change a purl st to a knit st?

Hi all! I’m fairly new to knitting, at least knitting anything other than a scarf. This fall I decided to knit my first sweater. So far all has been going smoothly.

My question is this: Is there any way to change a purl stitch to a knit stitch without taking out a row? On the cuff of the sleeve I should have knitted 3 stitches (end of the row), but I purled them instead. I have only knitted one row over them, just didn’t want to take out a row if I didn’t have to.

Any suggestions? Or should I just take out the row and go back to the mistake. :??

Thanks!

IF you go here to the Fixing Mistakes portion, the first about fixing stitches without unraveling a row should show you what you need to know!

Thanks so much! Easy enough. I had looked for a video explaining it… guess I just missed it. Thanks for the link!
