Casting On Beginning Or End Of Row

I am knitting a bolero sweater and it says to cast on stitches every few rows to the front edge. I tried the simple thumb method but it leaves loose yarn and a hole. What is the best method to use for this? I have seen where some recommend the knitted or cable cast on, but how do you do this at the end of a row? Do you do it one stitch in? Help…

For the knitted cast on, move your needle to the left hand and turn. Then do it at the beginning of the row. It won’t matter when you’ve knit a few rows…

Thank You, Suzeeq, It worked out beautifully. I also found if I purled through the back of the stitches I casted on +1 there was no hole!
Thank You! :muah:

Yay! :cheering: Ain’t it great when it works out…
