Cast On in Middle of Row

I was trying to find out how to do this in one of the videos but I can’t. The pattern calls for me to kfb, k1, co.

How do I do it in the middle of the row?

You can do either a cable cast on (loosely) or backward loop. Both have videos here in the cast on section.
