Cast Off vs. Bind Off

I have never knitted with a pattern that refers to “cast off” instead of “bind off”. Do they mean the same thing?

I’m pretty sure it’s the same.

Yup, it’s the same. In the UK we say Cast Off

Yup! It all depends on what side of the ocean you’re on.
