Hi
I am knitting a sleeve and I have to cast off 3 sts then work to last 3 sts then cast off 3 sts.
I can’t figure out how to cast off last 3’sts without leaving a spare stitch?

This is almost always confusing. Best thing to do is cast off at the beginning of the row then complete the row, turn and cast off at the beginning of the next row.
There are tricky ways to cast off at the end of row but to me it’s not worth the fiddling.

Thanks. This is the last row as I then keep on a stitch holder.
What is the name of your pattern and designer?
ONe way to do this is to work the first bind off, work to the end of row, turn and bind off 3 then put the sts on hold.

Marianna Mel’s patterns are always so cute. You’ll be working stockinette here so the method I mentioned will work without disrupting the stitch pattern. Just slip the last stitch from that second bind off of 3sts back to the left needle and then put all the remaining 27sts on a holder or waste yarn.
