Cast/Bind off 3sts, knit to end

Hello everyone, I’m a new knitter, and this is only my second project. I’m working on knitting my baby nephew a dinosaur for Christmas, and I just wanted to make sure I understand this direction.

So…for “Cast/Bind off 3sts, knit to end.” that means I cast on 3 sts and then knit the row and bind off 3 sts? Or as it says, cast 3 sts bind them off, and then knit to end. Any help would be greatly appreciated!!!

“Cast off” and “Bind off” are terms for the same thing – you don’t need to add any stitches, just bind the first three off and then knit to the end of the row.
