I mostly use Simply Soft for my crochet baby blankets. I love it.
I made my niece a blanket when she was 2 and she’s 5 now and looks as good as it did when I made it. All single crochet.
Though, I have found that if I use too many double crochets in one pattern, it starts to grow fuzz.
Caron is so loose and flimsy you’d be better off switching to a heavier weight
Not at all, it’s a perfectly good yarn to use.
My hook seems to catch a strand every sc,dc etc…but I love it too much to let it go…I eventually got used to the annoying snag here and there…I love how soft it is and the final product is well worth the minor aggravation I feel while making the item. Also if I use a hook that is a bit more blunt I find my Simply Soft doesn’t catch as much…saldy I have misplaced the to hooks that I had that were perfect for this yarn
