I was looking at curved back carders online, what’s the difference between the 72 point and 48 point ones, is one for finer wool or something???

the more pins the finer of a fiber you can use with them. I would go with the 72 pins.

Ok thanks, now trying to decide if I can wait til Christmas, or whether I will buy it for myself!

When deciding on the number of ppi (points per inch), always go with the highest.

You can always card less fine wool with a higher ppi, but it’s much harder to card real fine fiber with a lower ppi
