I am a little confused about the pattern… Ravelry says there is an errata- on row 29, it indicates I should bind off 3 stitches, but I think that I should cast on after as originally posted- this is the original,

*K4, (K, YO, K), K4, P2, (Sl 2-k1-p2sso), P2 repeat from *, end with CO 3 sts

This is the errata:

Row 29: *K4, (K, YO, K), K4, P2, (Sl 2-k1-p2sso), P2 repeat from *

NOTE! you won’t have enough stitches left on the needles to complete the last repeat, so after the second K4 just end by BO 3 sts

Scroll to comment 21 and it seems to verify that you are correct, cast on, not bind off, those 3 sts.

There are a couple of mentions of a corrected pattern and chart on a yahoo group but I don’t yahoo, and its about 10 years old, you might try it anyway if you do yahoo.
