Maybe i’m just to much of a novice but i’m not sure what to do in the beginnning of this pattern do i just knit 31 rows?
co 41
stitch 31 individual rows
pick up 15 stitches and turn
pick up 41 stitches and turn
pick up 15 stitches and place marker
112 stitches total

any help would be great, i know someone doing the 23 day walk in july and i want to finish this by then.
I think this must be a translation because it’s written a little oddly. Here’s how I see it -
CO 41
Knit for 31 rows
Pick up 15 stitches on the small end
Pick up 41 stitches on the next side
Pick up 15 stitches on the next side
You now have 112 stitches on your needles.
Join and continue pattern. (you’ll be knitting in the round)

When you get to the picking up stitches around the base, it may be easier to do each side with a different double pointed needle. Once you get a few rows, switch to a circular needle.
