Can I use kP's swish superwash for a poncho?

Okay, I screwed up on a child’s poncho with Rowan’s big wool tuft. I made it too big and now I have to wear it. :waah:

I need to get a poncho done before my friend’s birthday, so I have no time to order new yarns and wait for them. I want to use the swish superwash from my stash. Is that doable? Can I use worsted weight yarn for a poncho?

Help ! Please…

I don’t see why not! It just won’t be quite as heavy. Make sure you adjust the pattern accordingly for the smaller gauge yarn.

You could always double the worsted for a super-quick knit.
