I finished my Booga Bag and I-cord today! (first time with both) I think I started on the bag Friday evening? The I-cord I started and finished this evening. I was really happy with how the colors came out. I’ve actually already felted it…1 cycle through the hot wash with a cold rinse (no choice since the wash cycle used up all the hot water  ) but I’m really happy with the way it came out…I think I’ll not run it through any more cycles! It’s still blocking on top of the washer…I found the perfect sized box, too…an empty popcorn box! Can you tell I’m so excited…I’m rambling. THis is my first felted project! :happydance: SO here’s prefelting, I’ll post a finished product pic when it’s dry and I get the cord in.
Whoop! Whoop! Can’t wait to see it felted!
Did you stripe it yourself or is that a self striping yarn?
I striped it myself, Kristen…I used 3 different colors of WOTA. It was way easier than I thought it would be to do, but since I mostly changed color every row it wasn’t difficult to carry up.
Beautiful! Great colors!
Oh, great, now I’ll have to add bags to the list of things I want to knit . . . Yours is gorgeous!
I love it! Can’t wait to see it felted. I’ve done so many variations of the bag. It’s one of my faves
That looks wonderful! I can’t wait to see the “after” picks!
Wow!!! I love the stripes!!
I love it!
Loving the stripes!!! Can’t wait to see it felted
WHOOP WHOOP !!!
whoop whoop! What wota color did you use?
whoop whoop whoop! (Notice, that’s three!)
I used Rain, Violet, and Mulled Wine. I’m just dying to post a pic of it, but it’s still blocking and everyone would see how dirty the top of my washer is  Ugh I’ve been tempted all day to stand over it with a hair dryer!
I found putting my felted items outside in the heat and sun helped them dry quickly and I’ve been known to throw them in the dryer for a while too!
I thought about sticking it in the dryer but was afraid I’d mess it up, because that’s just how my luck runs
Oh Becca, it is beautiful.
and in a cheering voice “Felt it, felt it, felt it!” The suspense is killing me!
Becca, just a thought… When you felt you should put your machine on the lowest water level setting. If you’re just felting a purse or a pair of slippers that would be plenty of water. Can’t wait to see the finished product. Your colors are beautiful!
It’s finally ready! I’m pretty happy with how it came out, especially since it’s my first felted project! I think I’d like to knit a couple pockets for it, one for inside and one for out, just hafta get a felting needle this week.
