I wanted to try my hand at this scarf, but I haven’t been able to figure out what stitch the lace is. The closest thing I found was the aster stitch, but the gaps on this scarf seem much larger.
The website I saw this on is in Japanese, but I’ve been able to work out that the pattern originally comes from a Russian book. I tried to make out the chart under the photo, but I’ve never done a lace pattern (or anything with additional yarn overs or drop stitches), so it’s tough for me to presume the meaning of the symbols.

Could anyone tell me the name of this lace, or possibly provide a pattern or chart
?
I think the pattern in the book is the same (or almost) as the scarf, just a different yarn/needle size. I think all I may be able to help you with is translating. I found this the other day and it’s really helped me. I hope you figure it out, it’s a really cute pattern!
I think its elongated stitches (dropped sts), which are cabled AND twisted.
Something like this (multiples of 7
Row 1: K7
Row 2: P1, P1 by inserting to purl and wrapping three times before completing the st x 6
Row 3: K1, Slip 6 sts to R needle dropping all extra loops. Slip same 6 sts back to L needle. Complete a 3F/3 cable WITH a twist.
Row 4: P7
Row 5: K7
Row 6: P7
Repeat 1-6 offsetting by three sts.
This stitch pattern, Nupp Lace 1, uses a technique for gathering stitches. It would certainly be a simple way to create a stitch pattern that would closely imitate the one used in this scarf.
Thanks for the advice everybody! I’ll try your tips.
