The Yarn is Vermont Chunky Knitting, in Blossom, which is a varigated yarn in shades of pink, purple and light blue.
I need a quick knit for a toddler, maybe with a button or something to tie it on with.

How about something simple like this:

I think this scarf is done in a garter stitch but you could do a rib or other pattern and just work the hole into it.
I made my daughter one with a hole in it and she loved how it stayed around her neck.
