I made these for my 9 and 11 yr old nephews for Christmas. I used Bernat Camouflage Yarn in Mash and Desert Sand.

Jan, they look great. If I hadn’t read the topic I wouldn’t have known they were supposed to be camoflauge. They just look amazing. I like that pattern where did you find it?
No, the yarn doesn’t look like typical camouflage, but it’s better than changing colors a bazillion times! :teehee:
I’ve made so many hats I just made up the pattern. I CO 80 stitches, ribbed for 2 in, knit till it was about 6 inches from CO and then started decreasing… k8, k2tog, around, k one row, k7, k2tog, etc… till I had about 8 st on the needles.
I love them!
i like those, too. i’m looking for a masculine beanie type thing to make my brother. maybe he’d go for something in this yarn.

I love them both but I LOVE the brown one - I’m into a very “Brown” mood for everything fall so it would match everything I have right now. What kind of yarn is that?

Those are awesome. I like the regular camo one. I might have to make a hat like that for my bro - he plays paintball and would probably actually use a camo hat.
