Cameo Shell Stitch Shawl

OK so here is my quandry… I am doing this shawl.

Row 1 says (on last stitch) to slip1 wyif.
Row 2 says (on last stitch) to slip1 wyif.
Row 3 says (on last stitch) to sl1.
Row 4 says (on last stitch) to sl1.

Here is my question: if I just sl1, the working yarn is then on the second last stitch, not the last one. Do I just knit the next row with that working yarn brought around the knitting? I can’t picture this in my head at all.

Can someone help me please?

I’ve done patterns like that. It works out just fine when you turn; your yarn is then in the back and ready to knit the first stitch of the next row.

Sorry to trouble you Suzeeq, I obviously didn’t read the pattern before rushing ahead with the knitting. It clearly says "note the last stitch on every row will be slipped purlwise wyif. Only I didn’t see that until I frogged the mess I had! I’m glad I saw it before restarting the knitting. LOL.

Sorry to trouble you!
