I want to make this pinwheel blanket.
How would I go about calculating the yarn amount I need? I’m not sure if I want to use DK or worsted. It will depend on what I can find on sale really.

Go to Ravelry and click patterns. Type in “Pinwheel baby blanket” and then look at how much yarn and what types other people used. That’s the easiest way I know how.
BTW…once you are on the main projects page where you see several peoples blankets click the yarn tab at the top. You can see the yarns people used. If you click the number of uses below the yarn it will bring up all the projects done with that yarn.
