I’m trying to make the Denim Wrap blanket from Debbie Bliss “Great Knits for Kids” but I’m confused with the abbreviations.

A few of the confusing parts read:

  1. P4, Cr2R, K6, Cr2L, P4
  2. P4, C3B, Cr3L, P4

For number 1, does it mean that you put two stitches on the cable needle in the back, knit 6 sts, knit the two stitches from the needle and then put two stitches on the cable needle to the front, purl 4 stitches and then knit the 2 stitches off the needle?

I’m totally lost on number 2.

The blanket calls for a variety of these types of stitches but I’m not sure how to navigate through them. :??
