Cables in the round?

I was wondering, is it possible to knit cables in the round? I am starting a sweater for my hubby and its a back and forth that I’d like to change to a circular.

You can do cables in the round. You’ll just have to reverse the stitching for what would have been the back. So what would have been knits are now purls and vice versa.
